  • My Tip for Top Psy Trance Producer

As the festival season peeks over the brow of another exceptionally depressing winter, the many cold dark nights of downloading various psy trance mp3's is about to pay off.

There are some exceptional talents out there, with many unsigned artists waiting to be discovered.

I've been very selective about the style of psy trance I'm collecting, with a view to preparing a storming set for June.

But head and shoulders above the rest has been Luke Psywalker, especially his album Inverted Vertigo - with bouncy, driving basslines, razor sharp intergalactic squeaks and well conceived futuristic samples....I cant stop listening to it!

  • new fangled social media thingies

I've been busy registering on various forms of social media recently, as I hear a lot about them, but rarely get the time to delve in.

First I tried Twitter, which lets you post a quick sentance or two about what you are doing right now (a bit like the status you can enter on Facebook).

You can find friends and family on Twitter if they are registered, or invite people to join but I still can't really see the point I'm afraid?

Next I tried creating a Technorati Profile which allows me to link up my various blogs (just this one, plus my Blogger mattpone.blogspot.com/ at the moment). Then Technorati indexs my posts and they become searchable by other Technorati users. This seems relatively sensible to me and I've already found some interesting posts by other members, that I doubt I would have found anywhere else.
